Winter in the Adirondacks
Millions of acres of evergreen trees, winding rivers, and expansive lakes become cloaked in snow, offering travelers the chance to play, explore, and relax in a landscape that looks like the best snowglobe ever. It might be chilly, and downright cold sometimes, but there are activities to match. The Adirondacks boasts great alpine and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, ice skating, tubing, and so much more. Relaxation here is creative too, with lakeside bonfires, farm-to-table fireside dinners, and plenty of s'mores. We're all about s'mores.
So pack your favorite sweater, warm socks, boots, and plenty of layers. You can go from the cool slopes to the warm fire and back again, every day and at any time. Gear rentals abound, so all you have to bring is your sense of adventure. Hot winter adventure awaits!
